It's now the end of March and look what covers the ground outside. More snow! We've had our share of it this year. I love to see the fresh brightness it claims and so enjoy waking up to it, but it's time for SPRING to appear!

Karyl stopped over yesterday to work on Garden Club stuff and greeted by Spencer. I swear that dog is half human and the size of a small child! After greeting Karyl he jumped in a living room chair and continued his nap. He is such a blessing in the Bausch house.
Looking out of the car window and spotting a winter wonderland is a gift of sorts. Even the rearview mirror gives us a lovely picture.
It offers a look at a fabulous setting. The Rockport Garden Club is ready for our annual HOLLY BERRY FAIR. It provides a way to pick up holiday things you can't find anywhere else. Everyone enjoys looking around and seeing friends while spreading celebratory cheer. Hope to see you there!
When looking around I see leaves abandoning the tree cover while bare branches take over. Yet noticing colored leaves still standing in the distance. The dark evergreen remains tall among the fading beside them. What a lovely picture of nature. This is FALL in Maine and I love it.
On my walk I spot this. A bird sitting in a bush looking like a statue as it did not even move when the camera came out. It is perfectly placed
among the dying leaves. Michelle brought a TRADER JOE'S treat for us. It was a "surprise tasting" while putting a puzzle together and OH, MY...the bag was GONE before we knew it. Dark chocolate is not my favorite, but this tasted like a welcomed sweet. I must make a stop there when in Portland.
This warm FALL brings colored tree leaves but those flowers stick around adding more beauty to the background. One says it's fall, another screams summer. We so enjoy those upper 60's and the gorgeous beauty it presents.
This lovely hydrangea flower sits beautifully in front of a massive color of greens. It greets you near the driveway and puts a smile on your face as you witness those blooms appearing. Some are bursting while others just beginning to appear. What a lovely flower!
