WINTER TASTINGS

 My job is to set a table for a dinner gathering.   Each time I try to use different place settings to see how I put things together that haven't
​ been used to decorate the table.

Presents were received as a gift this week from friends who are moving.  
​What a sweet surprise that got used in the kitchen where Leon's job begins.

He immediately used the gift and got to work on dinner.

Pans took ​center stage on the stove getting ready to cook the meal. 

Leon began to create a fabulous Creamy Tuscan Sausage with Pasta
​and a pan of roasted vegetables.

We all have a sweet tooth when it comes to Megan's carrot cake with raisins and nuts and many layers.   I meant to get a photo of the cake before ​eating a partial piece from the left overs, but I was too busy enjoying myself. 

The next day a lunch was shared with Kate along with catching up and much laughter at Trackside.   That meal was spectacular as we caught up on January events.    Now February starts with snow on the ground
​waiting for Valentine's Day to appear!
