WHAT IS IT?

Spencer sat resting as the door opened and his eyes switched from a sleeping mode
to wide awake because he heard something happening.

Leon was busy working with the new flag.   The faded flag that has been hanging outside the door needed to be replaced.  ​The one year
​patriotism piece had seen its day.

Up came Spencer's head looking at the happenings.   Or was he saluting the flag with his head raised.    I hope he's patriotic and recognizes what Leon is doing because he is a very smart boy!
