Our traveling buddies are once again off on another September adventure. This time to Bethel, Maine where our first stop - breakfast.
That's where we met Lori and Husband. What a pair they were. All of a sudden some tasty donuts were delivered to our table on the house! They were out of this world and so good that I ordered some more for us to taste.
Our next stop was Colby College Art Gallery and boy was I ever impressed.
Already have some ideas for painting the garage floor like this!
The gallery was a showcase of modern art with this being a special piece by Alex Katz. The diamond bracelet caught my eye immediately.
We browsed around for a couple of hours and I asked each traveling buddy to stand by the painting they were most impressed with - loving the artist ability to paint just the perfect picture. As you can see we all have different tastes in art.
While waiting for all to finish browsing, some of us sat on that wonderful couch talking and looking through the magazines.
A stop for lunch Butcher Burger, tasting the best hamburgers and experience something we've never had before - wine in a can! Interesting!
Off we went to place in Bethel and laid down on the bed and died. We would meet at 8:12 (Jon's time) in morning in the motel coffee shop.
