THE WINTERFEST BEGINS

​a crowd with those colored stocking caps and winter ware.

It's the Doggie Fashion Show!

"The first 30 dressed-up pups to participate will win a dog-approved prize and a ribbon award".    Now how exciting is that for both the dog and their owner?

There were a wide variety dressed perfectly for the showing.

I got to see Kellie posing for a photo shoot.   I'll bet Diana made her formal wear and Bob took care of this special dog while the show was going on.

There were festivities all day long.   Miss Amy, the librarian, took kids on a wintery story walk through Harbor Park.   Creative and face painting also took place.   Ice sculptors were busy carving their artistic pieces.    At 1:00 the Polar Plunge happened where participants splashed into frigid Camden Harbor.   The winners won time in a mobile sauna.  What a treat.  The town was hopping as it turned out to be a warm sunny day for all events.  A perfect way to welcome
