SOME GARDENING FRIENDS

Boy, are we learning lots at our Rockport Garden Club adventures.   A few of us got our photos taken around the hors d'oeuvres table before the meeting.

We learned about cutting and arranging flowers from John Fromer,
​a Maine Master Gardener, from Merry Springs Nature Center.  

It was a real adventure from preparing flowers to put in vases and
​showing us how to arrange them.

Start with the filler (hostas make great fillers) then go to those lovely flowers to hang over, in and around the vase - one stem at a time!   What a master John is at quickly designing a lovely arrangement of pure beauty.

Get those buckets out and play with flowers while making a masterpiece.
