SATURDAY WITH FRIENDS

I spent this day with a dear friend.   MARY!  Checking in at her place around 9:00 and leaving at about 12:30!   What a ball we had.   Trying to discuss Garden Club duties and ending up talking about everything else but plants!  

While having a chat, treats and coffee were served.   The savory French Onion Olive Tart was like nothing I have ever tasted.   I got the recipe and you soon will be hearing about my attempt at making it.  

Then Dave appeared with the fabulous painting he was working on.   Do I ever love it!   It's magical in appearance and superb in color.

The painting matched the flower that Mary made.
​Talk about two very talented people!

I didn't leave their home empty handed as Mary gave me these wonderful butterflies.   I have so many ideas on how to use them when decorating a table setting.    One superb Saturday morning took place, ​shared with a couple of FRIENDS!
