ONE DECEMBER DAY

It's just about winter in Maine and that means playing in the snow.   The father next door and his two sons are building igloos in their backyard and I know it will last because the weather for the rest of the week is to be in the 20's or low 30's.

While playing in the snow around our house, Camden is totally lit up all over the place.   The water shadows are like a painted picture scene.   The darkness plays a lovely backdrop.

In all the holiday tubs from up in the attic, I find this tree.   I picked it up last year after Christmas and decided our bedroom needed some festive cheer.   To sleep through the night with this scene, sitting right there in total darkness, is a real treat.

I've got to keep decorating as this thrilling holiday will soon be here.   The attic is a place where such items are stored but it is FREEZING up there right now.   Enjoy every single day that
brings a bit of ​happiness your way.
