The bench sat waiting outside the Rockport Library within the leaves and bare trees. The temperature appeared in the 40's, which would have been delightful to take a seat and watch the sun shine over the waters in the harbor.
Next stop: Megan's Rose Cottage Bakery to nibble on "wonderful" throughout the next couple of days. Everyone of these sweets is my very favorite! And seeing my weekly friends makes it all the more special.
Off to Goodwill, looking for candle holders, but found much more.
I placed all the snowmen in a row for a winter photo.
Browsing throughout the store I spot many interesting holiday items.
But by favorite were these dress shoes costing $8, but with the whole store being 50% off today I got them for $4. They fit just perfectly and have hardly been worn.
My best purchase of the day!
With the parking lot full, I still stopped at TJ MAXX where this piece caught my eye. Didn't know what it was. Took a photo and brought it home to show Leon. It's a decanter that holds wine. So interesting. So downright different from
what I have seen before. Only $14.
My word, I have never seen this store so packed with holiday findings. And this is not half of what I witness walking up one aisle and down another. Didn't even get to the dining offerings. So many things marked at great prices.
I was in there for an hour!
Drawn to the Halloween items because they were marked 50 to 75% off.
I'm already planning next year's FALL decor.
Driving over the bridge with wreaths hanging, bursting in color, I just thought how lucky I was to live in a place that is filled with holiday charm.
We have much to be thankful for!
