Today's adventure led us to lunch in Cedar Falls where we hooked up with high school buddies. I am always so excited when this happening takes place. Leon was there this year, which made it all the more exciting.
I graduated with these dear people and always love coming home to see them.
Do you even believe this tenderloin? It's so huge and crusty and insanely scrumptious. I thank you, Connie, for giving me a couple of bites. It's what I'm going to order next year!
Hope this lunch time, with old friends, never ends.
Thursday night, I met up with some of Mary's buddies for Chinese.
A lovely time happened then, too.
Kristi walked Mindy's dogs yesterday. They are just adorable.
Then there is Billy's PACO waiting patiently at the door to be let in.
PACO has his favorite toy in the house and, of course, we started smelling those covered up cookies that he knew were just for him. They were soon moved!
The moon, a delicious dot, sat peacefully in the sky as Mary and I drove Lucy and her swimming friends for swimming class. Another wonderful day took
place in our visit to Iowa.
