NEIGHBORHOOD GATHERING

Neighbors had a soup and dessert gathering on Saturday night
and it was a fantastic get-together.    Their home was all decked out for Halloween.

There were soup pots all over the place, ready to dive our soup spoons
​into some delicious tastings.

Taco soup to corn chowder to shrimp chowder and chili.   Ours was a roasted sweet potato green apple soup from Michael Salmon's cookbook. It happened to be
​a treasure tasting experience. 

Then came along the desserts - cookies, raspberry bars and Whoopi pies along with other tasty treats.    I cannot tell how delicious all of that tasted.

Thank you, Kim and Charlie, for a spectacular eating experience for every neighbor in attendance!   We're already planning the next great get-together.
