This photo is somewhat blurred as was my entrance into Applebee's. I didn't see the three-steps that were waiting for me to FALL - landing on my knees, head to the floor. It all happened so suddenly as I climbed up from the landing unable to move my left arm because of a sore shoulder. Walking to the table, taking a seat and pulling out 2 Tylenols from my pocket, the pain retreated.
Upon arriving home I made a call to Dr. Curtis, our chiropractor, and got in to see him. His remedy, since I could move my arm in all positions but to raise it, was to put an ice pack on my shoulder for 10 minutes - off for 15 minutes. Keep doing that. I came home beginning my treatment - without any pain, just not able
to lift my arm.
The next day I received a text from Helen. I was telling her what happened. Within minutes she was at my door with this amazing ice pack! Put in ice, pour in water, put cap on - it's ready. Such a neat bag! I'm going to order one. So those are the happenings in growing older. I wonder if nothing else was hurt because
I've been going to the gym? I'd like to think so!
