I'm all ready to make one of the recipes out of my new cookbooks. This is a colander. My discovery when making this particular food.
I'm going to attempt a Fettuccine Alfredo recipe.
(Sounds difficult!) It has a little amount of ingredients though.
While the Fettuccine is waiting to cook
I am stirring the Alfredo.
Well, until that sauce boiled over and left the stove and pan covered in it, while I was looking at the recipe and the pasta. Learned: never try to do three things at once while burners are on!
When I finished there were two bowls of dinner ready to eat. With parsley sprinkled on top, our eatings were not so bad.
This cookbook served a purpose. Half of it was explaining what all the kitchen tools were used for and ways to store, shop and learn about knife safety.
I'm still studying these parts of the essentials when cooking.
Let's see! What's next?
