ITALIAN OVEN FRIED CHICKEN

My next cooking attempt becomes oven fried chicken.   It's a recipe that an Iowa friend sent to me.   Along with it comes new vocabulary:  DREDGE the chicken.

Dredge means to coat an item of food in flour or bread crumbs before cooking.

Here we go!   Where is that chicken?

All ready to pop in the oven.

Out it comes, ready to eat!   So delicious and as Nancy said it really is an easy recipe, only looking complicated on paper!  Tasting delicious - eating half of it and saving the other half for tomorrow.

If you only didn't have to cut and touch that slimy fat off the chicken before dipping it into the dry stuff, this would be even more easy to make.

GREAT job!! The green tomato looked interesting. I am definitely gonna give it a try.

I've never seen green tomatoes before, Susan. I wonder what they taste like??
