This is a clock that I purchased while living at Eastward.   The cost - $9.00.   It was too plain and simple so when Judy made a visit she painted it.   This lovely clock hung in our kitchen 30 years with a battery change every once and awhile.  It brings
back so many loving memories.

The minute hand happened to be the only that would move!   And our attempt at getting it apart left some wrinkles along
the edge of the number 12.

Leon took off today as we had no way except the microwave for telling time.   This is the clock he came home with.   Cost: $4.44!   Tomorrow I'm going to add the black contemporary splatter all over the rim, like before.   I hate to have the memories pass us by.   Wish Judy lived closer!

Great story. Yes, your new clock will look super with the black contemporary splatter like Judy added to your previous clock.

There is such a difference WITHOUT the dots, Linda. Those black spots add a little character to the clock.
