IOWA ADVENTURES

 We made it to Iowa and started this morning with a breakfast of cousins meeting together in the town we grew up in.   The quiche and tasty muffin were absolutely delicious,
​plus the lovely cup of fruit.

the other side of the table.   All very happy and unchanged since our meeting last year.   I'm so happy about that.   After all these are my COUSINS!

The restaurant, Odd Pops, is part cafe and part shopping.  
There were lovely things all over the place in that store for purchase.   

We drove by the house my mom and eight brothers and sisters grew up in. Happy memories still exist right there.   Those cousins I saw today spent Christmas holidays in the basement, complete with a festive setting.  It needs some paint but joyful thoughts fill my mind every time we visit.

Our drive also showed us some Halloween decorations on leaf colored lawns.  
 So many leaves you cannot see the grass!   But certainly enjoyed the holiday!

While driving home we stop at Billy's to see the Dwarf Burning Bushes showing up with red colorful surprises.   Just outstanding!

The FALL setting continued at Mary's house.   So creative!

I will never forget this sparkling tree.   All colors - orange, red, yellow with dark branches showing throughout.  Experiencing a spectacular family day in Iowa!
