I am in the kitchen again. Got this recipe for a ham and cheese delight from my high school friend and I thought it looked easy enough
that I might be able to make it.
So here it goes! Unwrapping a crescent roll.
I always learn something new with every cooking experience. First I had no idea what this instrument is. It's called a mandolin used for slicing things. That's what Leon showed me how to get the onions ready for sauteing in butter.
Now I work my magic by placing all the ingredients on top -
mayo, mustard, Swiss cheese, folded ham slices, then more cheese!
After slicing the dough, the onions are completed and spread
over my concoction of food.
Crisscrossing and brushing an egg wash on it completes the process.
This doesn't look right. In fact, it appears to be one giant mess!
After placing it in the oven, here is the finished product. Looks pretty good.
In fact, it tastes delicious! Another successful cooking experience in the books.
Let's see I'm making a breakfast meal for my next adventure.
