It happened to be so HOT one last time in the month of August. We worked in the garden during the early morning hours to get those plantings in.
Putting in a flower garden behind the "real one" while we wait for delivery of permanent happy plants.
Replaced the dying flowers with new ones that were
on sale at the garden centers.
Waiting for pots of flowers we ordered. The grass is turning. Maybe after the rain we will see a brighter green.
The pots are thrown aside empty waiting to be returned to the garden centers. This is a great way to spend a very humid morning for a couple of hours, creating something new and hopefully those perennials will last forever.
A week goes by. Grass seed is planted. The turquoise table gets moved.
And finally a lovely garden space is created.
One last look at our flower gardens and
and a quick glance of the rocks that make the whole scene so lovely. It has been a great summer we worked hard and enjoyed the results of the great color that exists. Had a fun time discussing and creating new natural settings and
a fabulous backyard of huge boulders and devine flowers!
