HOLIDAY GIFTS

Guess what Leon and I both got each other this year for Christmas.  SOCKS!    I received the best short socks ever.    Ones that are light weight but keep your feet warm.    Leon got a pair of heated socks that Michelle found for me.  
​You plug them in and the cold feet disappear.   

The holiday messages mean the most as I can hear Leon saying the words as they leap off the Christmas card.   I have saved them throughout the years, where they sit on a closet shelf, often getting read many more times.

The best part of Christmas is eating Cindy's frozen Coconut Caramel pie.   She makes it for us every time we are in Dallas.   It contains cream cheese, Cool Whip, evaporated milk, caramel syrup, coconut, pecans with a graham cracker crust.   The recipe makes two pies.   Put it in the freezer and after you have served it at a dinner party there sits another to dive into.    Now just how wonderful do you think that delicious pie tastes?   Cindy, you are with us every time we have it!
