I'm back to the rest of the week in Dallas. Wednesday night was spent at Freda's house where we took time decorating her place. After going to a design place and picking up some items that would enhance the rooms, we quickly got to work.
Flowers filled were place one at a time in a lovely vase that sits on the window sill. Moving furniture around was also fun, being the designers we were, with
a glass of wine in hand and much sharing of ideas.
Lisa stopped over and we had dinner, eating salads from LaMadeline's. Oh my, I eagerly ate salad that never lost its normal good taste...
and a surprise dessert to top it off.
The next day I high tailed it over to Linda's and found
this message on the kitchen counter.
We took a tour through Linda's home and I spotted these hats I did a long time ago when I began the world of painting. A very special photo of Marge, Linda and me at the Arboretum one spring when the tulips were blooming caught my eye,
bringing back some very special memories. I loved the visit!
Friday lunch took place at Sylvia's where I met up with my traveling buddies for the past 40 years. It was fun spending time catching up because it's been six years since I have been back to Dallas. Talk. Laugh. Eat. in that order took place.
This is a short recap of my visit to Dallas in a week as I share the tree that sits outside Freda's front yard. I had a ball the entire time being there and have not told you everything - the time I spent at Katie's house is
tomorrow's scene on Being Barb.
