Yesterday was an adventure on a trip to Freckle Salvage Co. in Winthrop, Maine! The purpose: looking for an addition to our garden. I wanted something like this red wagon, hoping that it could be found after reading a Penbay Pilot article.
To get there we got to ride in Jon and Helen's new car.
What a treat that was!
We found this array of nature's beauty at the entrance of the vintage shop.
Once inside I went through room after room of looking for that one item meant to land in the flower garden.
Walking out with this white object that reminded me of the red wagon.
If fit perfectly among the flowers.
Went searching for a plant at Beth's that would fit right on the bike,
coming home with this.
Moving things around it landed where you could see white wildflowers
growing above the wheels. Perfect!
There! It fits right in place!
It was a spectacular day, eating fabulous lunch in Winthrop and riding in Jon's car, where you could drive without having your hands on the steering wheel.
(I'm still looking for a little wagon I can paint red. Let me know if you see one!)
