FEELS LIKE MONDAY

Today is the day after Memorial Day and yet this Tuesday feels like Monday.   The day I have NOTHING planned.   The day I stay in my non-matching pajamas all day ​or schedule some time with friends.

 Today I spent the morning in Camden (not in pajamas) eating bagels and enjoying the t-shirt ​Cate happened to be wearing as topics of discussion included writing.  

Guess who got the  best bagel?   Mine is the plain sesame one with cream cheese while Cate chowed into the egg with veggies on top.   I didn't even realize they made one like that.   Looked delicious!

Then we headed to Serendipity (a second hand store) and Rockport Blueprint (an art store) to do some serious browsing and purchasing.   Potted flowers along the way offered a bit of whimsy to one fabulous morning.

I pulled in the garage upon arriving home and found Leon working on a branch he got from a tree in our backyard.   "What are you making" was my question
​upon getting out of the car.

"I'm making a cane so I stop losing my balance on hidden rocks in the yard", he responded as he smiled, with Spencer guarding the door!    I guess the "feeling like Monday" carries many different meanings - but we wear a grin on our faces as life goes on and experiences seem utterly dissimilar.   
It turned out to be one fabulous Monday, I mean Tuesday!
