Last week began with new trees placed in the front yard that didn't make it over the winter. Dave and his son get a pizza evening at the Bausch house for replanting two new trees. A real friend he has turned out to be.
Michelle and I went for lunch at DOTS and found this display at their front door. I'd say it looks pretty darn neat and a whole lot of work put into it.
Spencer and I went for a Miata ride throughout the neighborhood. He is always waiting at the car door, not to be left behind. Such a good boy.
Took a trip to Cushing to take pictures of Karin and those beautiful lupins that surrounded and her house. And she matches them perfectly! She's saving some seeds so the Bausch yard gets peppered with them next year.
Leon is waiting patiently for me to get ready for our Friday night at Cuzzie's.
Spencer realizes he is not joining us, sitting and thinking, "maybe this time..."
Lastly, we got a surprise call from Dallas friends who are spending a month in Rockport, close to our old neighborhood. We were surprised and invited them over so we could catch up after not seeing them for a long time. It happened to be a wonderful evening snacking on Leon-created hors d'oeuvres. What a treat! In fact, the whole week was full of treats. I love Mondays - always looking for new events that seem to occur during the week.
