A VISITOR STOPPED BY

Look what landed on the kitchen counter yesterday when
​a special friend came for lunch.

 Vicky from Arizona is visiting Maine!   She hasn't been here for several years and boy it proceeded to be quite special to see her.   

After spending some time out looking over the flower gardens, we returned to the house and dined on a fabulous lunch that Leon created.

He made a scrumptious chicken salad.   Of course, the dessert happened to be my favorite makings with caramel syrup, nuts, ice cream and topped with a bit of whipped cream.   The right way to end a meal.

 It turned out to be one fabulous day with a friend I rarely get to see.  It's always a gift when catching up and sharing life with special friends.
