The cover of this book tells the story in a picture, if you take a minute to study it.   "One evening, her husband, Gabriel, returns home late from work and Alicia shots him five times in the face and then never speaks another word" reads the summary on the book jacket.    It certainly is "thought provoking and deeply twisted" and certainly a "spellbinding psychological thriller about violence, obsession, and the dark side of passion".    
A quick and interesting read.   I tell you no more!
