The Rockport Garden Club meeting held place yesterday and besides seeing everyone, the snacks offered were just as delicious!

whereas Patty and I stood close together as we shared our dressing alike without ever knowing what the other one was going to wear.

Here's Patti smiling away with bag in hand and very happy to be there!
Our speaker was Peter Alsop who started Tenderwild Farm in Rockport.  "He has an eye towards long-term land stewardship - building healthy soil, working with natural systems and keeping inputs simple".

As the day moved along I took off with paints in hand to participate in my art class.    Look what beautiful, pleasing and admirable flowers greeted all of us at the door.
The class shared some of their work over the week.   My tulips need some extra attending to (I think if you tap on the photo you will be able to see the whole painting).   The TV art show landscape showed a way for me to loosen up while creating!

This is a sample of Colleen's masterpiece.   Several colors of paint are used to produce such a wonderful piece of art work.

We all shared our work from home and I always take a picture of what I think is the best painting.   This piece of work certainly hit the spot this week.
Our lesson was about putting down three colors of paint from one side of the color wheel and "slopping" it done on a wet canvas.   Then creating different images when dry.   Do you see the flowers in her work?   How about the fish?

I certainly adore this class and what a fabulous instructor, Holly Smith, we have!   She makes it all look so easy.
