Wildflowers are appearing all over our property! This is a photo of early June we see out the kitchen window.

Now we notice how those same wildflowers look in July.
I wonder what's to come!

The rocks that line the backyard produce white daisies galore. Along with those flowers vetch appears...a local weed that takes over, but the way I see it the beauty of both together is wonderful.

As we take a further look at the meadow many other wild flowers can be seen making that magical color appear all over the place.

I love it when bright yellow lands among the green grasses. Especially when it is surrounded by all the brilliance of coloration. It's July, soon to turn into August, and a totally different flower garden emerges.

As annoying as vetch may be, take heart it is native and because it is a part of the legume family, it fixes nitrogen in the soil. Which will make soil healthier! But… I do take it out of the garden for neatness sake. Love seeing it in the field though. So pretty especially with daisies!

It is a beautiful flower and adds some color to the grasses, Susan. I never research the wild flowers and I should. Wait til you see our gardens. Magic!

Can you believe those wildflowers, Judy? Magically they appear and I love the surprises it brings. One thing that always arises every year, Wish you lived closer!
