WEEKEND is OVER

The weekend began with breakfast at the Oak Room with the Clouds.   They are moving to Tennessee and are going to be missed around here when they depart.
(Looks like I caught a flower leaf on Susan's sweater!!!)

I just have to continue showing you what our breakfast places appeared, always tasting like a real treat to begin the day.   It's where we share quite a few breakfasts with
​the Harders when they get to Maine.

Then Saturday night Helen and Jon had us over for grilled hamburgers.   While sitting around munching on hors d'oeuvres, I noticed this iris in a vase just like the one Randy made for us a long time ago.

I have moved this piece of art all around the house, placing in different kinds of light and admiring the beauty it exudes wherever it sits.

I always love seeing what's up in the flower department at the Helen's!   A stunning Calla Lily sits by the window enjoying the light while a vase full of purple sits on the patio.  Helen has a gift for arranging such attractive plants and the end result is pure charm.

JoAnn was wearing a pair of comfortable looking shoes that I am trying to find.   We are heading to Belfast, making a stop at Colbert's to acquire such a pair!    This all happened on Saturday and was filled with a bunch of being with good friends.

Sunday I spent the entire day in bed!   Not feeling well.   Today is quite different as I woke up feeling great!    That was my weekend with the weather reading in the upper 50's!   Sunshine today and 60 degrees.   Outside work gets done on this day.
