SPLENDID LOVELINESS

That snow in the backyard yields a spot of beauty all the way around.   However, no one can get to the Little Free Library to grab a book.

So I grab the shovel and begin to clean up a spot where visitors
can get a look at those books.

It's such a luscious day that Spencer and I take walk.   Here he checks out our neighbor's yard.  It appears he wants to be on his own
without a leash attached.
Picture
He turns around and hears someone in the distance.
Could it be one of his dog friends?
Back to the house we go, but not without a stop at the snow shoveled book box.    Doesn't that face look like he's not interested in books but would rather take off to play in the snow?
Picture
He's looking at a huge pile of whiteness and longing to go leap in it.
If you are out there without something to read, I have it right here.

Reading a book came the next day, Judy. The snow was so high and ice covered ground did not allow us to check in outside. So, yesterday I read!

I have a couple of paperbacks (thrillers). Should I just put them in the box?
Too much snow for my pups... they're saying "no thank you mom":-)

I'd love for you to drop off the books, Linda. Either way - put them in the Little Free Library or leave them on the front porch. Whatever! I'm just so happy to get them and you may find some in the book box to take home. Love you!
