ROOT CANAL

After a wonderful trip to New Hampshire I come home and look at the calendar: "Root canal - 10:30 on Tuesday." That's today! Above are instructions for the $1,700 dental work I just had done. There goes the required minimum IRA reduction for the year! More dental work to follow, along with the bills. Let's look at the good part of this adventure: it all takes place in back of my mouth with no visibility of the procedure showing the world. That's the good part. AND I get to drink Dairy Queen malts for a couple of days which provides the positive in this whole experience.

I feel your pain . I have spent over 2o,ooo on crowns, root canals, bone grafts bilaterally and implants this year. Fun times. Hope your root canal went well.

I hear you, Maryann. Leon and I spent our so much time in that dentist chair with implants and bridges, root canals and lots of crowns. Our dentist friend had classical music playing and I remember those paintings on the ceilings as he worked away. Going to the doctor was much worse than going to the dentist.
