PAINTING AWAY

Will you look at that mess of watercolor paint?    I'm not sure why it won't wash off the stained mess.   I've got a dozen of these holders - this one should be throw away while those others get used.

Trees were the subject of today's creations with Colleen.  This is a sample of her work.   I discovered a multitude of painting lessons on the computer and was able to save them.   They are only a minute long but showed us a
different way to use that brush on the canvas.

Watching a computer site, we attempted to follow the directions, stopping here and there so we could create our own before moving on.
This happens to be my attempt at tree creations!   I know once you try to paint things perfectly you must do it over and over again until you get it right.
Each painting seems to just get better and better.   I've got a long way to go!

Beautiful Barb! You know how much I love watercolor!
I’m taking a 6 week drawing class and met a couple of ladies that also paint. They are encouraging me to take a painting class next fall..I just might! I’m so inspired by you, Leon, Judy and Teta!

Oh, Lisa, I encourage you to pick up painting. Leon and I started out drawing (it was hard for me) and it led to what we are doing now. The day goes by so fast when we're painting. I kept photos of my first work so I could compare 10 years laters! Send me some of your work in sketching.

Oh, Judy, I have so much trouble with trees and leaves on the flowers. I've got to just keep trying til one day I'll get it right. I would so encourage you to pick painting up again. You are so good at it.
