OUR TRAVEL TO IOWA

Sitting at the airport waiting to board the plane in North Carolina.   We're headed home to Iowa for a family visit and I can't wait!

Tuesday:    We arrive at my cousin's house on the farm lives and here sits a pleasant birthday surprise from my sister!   YEAH!

Mary and I shoot off to shop, always buying something that matches.  
 It was pajamas last year!

A trip to visit my niece, Katie.   

And her daughter and pet friends who were very welcoming!

On the way home I took lots of pictures of the farm land with a full moon lighting it up.   One turned out...sort of!

Thursday:   We met some of my cousins and brother and sister for breakfast.   It was just fabulous seeing them again.

That night Mary and I took off the Holiday Open House at the hospital where Mary volunteers.   I'm beginning to know her friends as we go every year.
It's so much fun.

It's a blast visiting and dining the evening away!

Back home we see Mindy's girls who live next door to Mary.   They are all growing up and part of the family.

Friday:  Meeting for lunch with high school buddies.   I can't wait for this gathering, to talk and see how everyone is doing.

The week has ended and we are getting home today to REST!    Not without a present from my brother.  I love visiting Iowa.   Finally got the time to let you know about my week in Iowa.   HEAVEN!
