OPEN GARDEN DAYS

It happened to be a special Saturday as we spent the morning wandering through the most spectacular yard where grace and harmony emerged.   Flowers and plants that have been in existence for 58 years at a place not far from the Goose River golf course in Rockport.
The variety of green shouted throughout.   The lily pond spoke volumes with many plantings hidden away in special places with tree trunks and branches playing a big part of the whole scene.
Flowers magically popping out all around.
I especially liked the simplicity of this basket holding a bit of elegance right on the grass in the middle of the whole display of beauty.

Here sits that yellow-green that I love so much which steals and
brightens the plantings beside it.
Creative items sit among the plantings and make the flowers look like they belong right there.   I love the the fish playing a part in this charm and glamour among the mass of green.

Using his iPhone, Leon captures the plantings that may appear in our garden next year.   We walked around stopping and admiring what a wonderful job these flowers make on the acreage right here close to home.    The owners should take a huge bow in creating such brilliance.

I've never seen anything like it, Judy. Those gardens are just magical and full of pure beauty.

Yes! The bees are buzzing around our property right now. We have three gardens in our backyard and they enjoy being around those flowers.
