ONE FABULOUS HOLIDAY

Here is the turkey purchased at Walmart that was totally enjoyed on Thanksgiving with a Roasted Spatchcock recipe that Leon made.   "Simply cut out the backbone and spread the bird out flat before roasting, a technique known as spatchcocking.   Roasted at 450, a 10-pound bird will be done in about 45 minutes.  REALLY"!

"It will also be more evenly browned (all of the skin is exposed to the heat), more evenly cooked and moister than birds cooked conventionally".    Did I mention how absolutely delicious that turkey tasted?

The table was my job to put together.
Leon and Michelle cooked the dinner.   Michelle bought over a salad, two pies and more!   We certainly had enough to eat with Leon's specialities, too.

We all cheered with good friends and family
sharing a wonderful meal.

This holiday was special for us because Jake bought his new wife.   Katrina fit right in as if we have known her forever.

And the boys - well here they are.   You already know who they all belong to.
It happened to be one of the best holidays ever.

Welcome to the family, Katrina.   You are the best!

Hey, Campbell! The kids were here for four fun days and we were on the go! We just had one great time eating Leon and Michelle's cooking! So good to hear from you.

Our chef did the same thing with our turkey! An interesting way of doing things. Wonder why we are just now hearing about this.

Your table is beautiful, Barb, and the meal looks delicious!

Boy, you are right, Dianne! We should have known about this before now. It was just so moist. The day went by so quickly. Now Christmas will be here before you know it. Have a great one! Love you!
