LOVELY OCTOBER DAY

Upon arising this lovely day we noticed turkeys enjoying our meadow in the backyard.   Not caring a bit as we approached them.

You wouldn't think the garden is filled with flowers on October 10...

as Leon and I spent the morning pulling weeds and plantings
​in a lovely 58 degree weather day.

I was not ready to put the pumpkins away, so placed them among potted plants to add a bit of color.

After 2 hours outside I come back into the house and look at the towel hanging on the oven.   It happened to be a gift from the gals who just left.   They bring a festive vibe to this gorgeous day.

And then there is Spencer, relaxing inside with the worker bees outside.   He always has to keep an eye on us.

After adding a few real leaves, the wreath gets hung on the door to greet friends approaching.    We spent the day with FALL all around us.  
A very happy feeling existing.
