LEON'S GREAT DISCOVERY

Leon speaking:   Here's my new friend, Massimo, at his restaurant, bakery, Italian market in Searsport.  It's quite a place with terrific baked goods,
sandwiches, coffee and wine.
Picture
Here he is in his bakery in Rome where he spent his early years learning the trade.  Rome is one of our favorite big cities.

Here inside, Massimo, prepares a four course meal with wine pairings and dessert in front of the diners at his self designed kitchen/serving area.  We may set up a dinner here with several friends.
There are way too many choices for our simple lunch.  We opted for a Mortadella sandwich heated to perfection.  Then a warm  croissant... delicious.  Just like being in Italy.
Picture
Yup, croissants hot out of the oven.
Picture
We actually started with a sample of his bread dipped in olive oil from Italy.  Most everything in the market is imported.  If you're looking for authentic Italian goods, this is the place just a short drive up the coast.

Massimo's is open on Friday-Saturday-Sunday from 10:00-3:00.

We'd love for you see that place, Tipping. It is so good...with lots of things from Italy to purchase and cook with. And of course WINES!
