HAPPY FLOWER DAY

It happened to be a perfect day to visit flowers.   There were six residents that opened their gardens for all to enjoy through the Camden Garden Club event which has taken place for 77 years!    Our flower beds were one of the gardens on the tour this year.

Mary Miller, a scholarly writer, described what sits on our land and offers the majestic charm that appears each year.

We offer three gardens where the annuals change from year to year.   We together visit nurseries, pick out the flowers we like and begin placing them in the ground.    A meadow lies beyond the yard and wild flowers are thrown in each year.   Surprises happen!    Color then appears in the meadow setting.  Huge boulders and large trees add some character to the surroundings as does Nan's stain glass garden piece, a painting of mine added a bit of beauty to the setting and a yellow bike brings some attractiveness to the scene.

Meet Cassie San0, an accomplishment painter, working her magic putting  brush to canvas of the several places throughout the landscape of flowers.    Certainly a skillful master in the art world.
Got a snap of the workers and friends who are wearing hats I simply adore
with their matching outfits.   Flower garden lookers indeed!
I decided to get a few shots of the people in attendance.   A whole lot of people attended.   Many friends.   A dog who was part of the day.   Spencer greeted everyone with love,
standing among the conversations!

I didn't get around to the other gardens that were on the tour but maybe they will let me stop by and get a look!   It certainly was a wonderful event for both me and Leon.
Met so many lovely people!

What a visual delight accompanied by a yellow bicycle and Spencer. What could be more impressive? 🌸🌺

That "visual delight" is going to get changed around a little next week. Must visit the nurseries once again. Thanks for your comments, Tipping!

Wow! What a beauiful show! Enjoyed seeing all the pictures of your place. You and Leon have outdone yourselves. Wish I could have been there.

Oh, Judy, it was a perfect day and so much fun. People visiting from as far away as Boston and Rangeley. Visitors from out of town. Flower seeking friends who we had a great time visiting with. Wish you were here!
