EXPLORING MAINE

Meet Bob Gove.   He owns a store in Windsor, Maine, putting fabric on pillows and covering furniture.   He's a friend of Jon and Helen's and is closing up shop so Helen and I went snooping around.   Bob is holding up some fabric that came home with me -
​ to make living room pillows come alive.

Look at all this STUFF you need when designing and making these things!

Helen came home with a piece of fabric to cover a chair.   Really looks fabulous!

Hussey's came into view at our next stop.   

Boy, did they ever have a selection of things in that place.   We spent time looking all over the store finding groceries on the main level, baby clothes/toys/books, fishing gear and wedding gowns.   I think I picked up everything to look at.

Lunch time!

Found Priscilla's Diner with the parking lot loaded with cars.   Must be good.   And it was.   I think Jon's fish chowder and Leon's chocolate, caramel cake was a real hit.    This will become an eating place on a Miata adventure ride! 

Back to Kuhl's where Leon acquired a cucumber plant, sunflower plant and yellow pepper plant.   They are placed in our gardens to soon be shared at dinner.   It happened to be a fun-filled adventure day where you never know where you'll be stopping
​or meeting someone new.   I love these days!
