DALLAS ARRIVES IN MAINE

It's Labor Day and with that comes visitors from Dallas.   Our first meal out happened at Scott's where we dined on seafood while enjoying
 the beautiful day together.

Alyssa had a pet friend the entire time she at the Bausch house.  
​Spencer just loved her!

Meredith and Clara stayed at Strawberry Hill not far from the house.   We didn't have enough beds!   The inn was approximately 1 mile from our house so it offered some fun times.

Saturday in Camden the Windjammer Festival took center stage.   "Watch the fleet of windjammers enter the harbor followed by live music".   Over 25 vendors and exhibitors including local artists, food trucks and interactive museum exhibits.   We watched the Lobster Crate Race take place.   EXCITING!

Sunday took the Dallas people to Eastern Maine at Acadia Park in Bar Harbor.    The sites happen to be incredible along with a tour.   The second largest park in America following Yellowstone.

Then, guess what!   Pizza time at the Bausch house.   They couldn't leave without having a taste of Leon's delicious pizza.

As the sun was setting Clara had fun on the backyard rocks, showing what the surroundings looked like.

All things must come to an end and Alyssa topped off the puzzle that was done in our relaxing time.   She did a fabulous job.

The girls left me this flower designed pot which I am going to paint a bigger one like it so they can sit together among real garden flowers.   What fun will that be?    The weekend sped by.   That's my sort of vacation
