CHOCOLATES, CALAMITY & COOKING

Leon stared silently at the big box of Russell Stover chocolates appearing on pale winter's Valentine's Day.   He received one of those giant ones with tons of variety.   The box gets hidden from me as I enjoy tasting his present.

When looking out our window there happened to be a huge truck falling off the snow-filled road into the neighbor's ditch.   I think we call it a 
road "snow-removal" job.

It took several hours for this all to get taken care of.  
I'm so happy our book box didn't get hit!

A day of cooking in the kitchen then began.   It was cheese and hamburger with bubbled up tomato sauce bursting into delicious as we sampled the makings of an afternoon meal.   What a great way to spend Valentine's Day before relaxing into book reading and napping.
