CELEBRATE GARDEN CLUB

It's May 1st and time for our Rockport Garden Club to meet.   This time our speaker is Kurt Snyder from Stonescape Masonry in Rockland.   He discussed where stones/rocks are sourced in Maine.

Dry and wet stone walls, seating, patios and walkways were shared and questions answered.   It was a very interesting presentation.   All I could think of was where I could use these stones at our house.

The centerpiece was my responsibility this month and Michelle helped with my arm still in the sling.   Can you tell yellow was the theme?

When we got home the centerpiece got placed on our porch.  Now those flowers will have to be changed, but for right now they look pretty good against the Whittington painting that hangs above the outdoor table.   What a fabulous day it turned out to be - all the way around!
