BIRTHDAYS LAST

It's Birthday Boy celebrating his special day for 4 days!    He received a gift certificate to the  Rockport Harbor Hotel from Michelle and Helen and Jon joined us.  It happened to be just as good as ever...maybe better!  

Lovely lilies sat beautifully in the center of the table.

Then came some donuts with a candle lit and a Happy Birthday song to Leon from the waitress.   Who even knew we were celebrating?    Thought it might be Michelle, but it wasn't.   Jon and Helen said nothing about it.   It certainly was a delicious surprise. 

Then came a birthday bag and inside was a darling bird feeder given to Leon from his friends!    That was something really special and also a surprise.     Leon once again was taken aback by his special day.   He is beginning to like his birthday being celebrated and not thinking he is aging but playing a little boy receiving gifts!

When I got home I got on FACEBOOK and this is what came up.   My sister and cousin sharing their bird feeder on the same day Leon got his.  Sitting right there waiting for its food.   It certainly was a day full of surprises.
