A WEEKEND OUTING

Our snowfall is disappearing and the sun was shining last Saturday so we took off on an adventure.   First stop - The Scone Goddess.

We always stock up on those delicious scone mixes.    Just add cream and you have a delicious breakfast treat.   Leon accidentally put two different kinds together while making them and they tasted just great.   We freeze them for a treat during the day.

Look what was given to us because they stopped ordering them.   Three small bottles to put on our scone makings.   I'm saving it for when the Iowa family comes to visit in May!

Next stop in Belfast was The Good Table.
This place is never missed when Belfast is a destination.   Oh my, it is just loaded with any kitchen supplies you would ever want.   We love the gifts and equipment for lobster making when guests arrive.  Leon always finds a new kitchen tool to try!

Back to Camden we headed where tubes of acrylic paint were purchased at Rockport Blueprint.   While checking out I noticed these flowers made of colorful paper and placed in a vase.   The gal showed me how she created such a beautiful arrangement.   So simple!
Scott's is always a stop for a scrumptious hamburger.   While Leon was getting our lunch a seagull was putting on quite a show.   The wind was strong and frozen dirty snow as that bird waited for food droppings.

The grocery store led us into the most expensive place on our journey .   The cost of four items was $27!!!   Do you believe that?   We are going to start buying only sale items...does that mean no eggs?   Which are out of sight?

We arrived home around 2:00 and Leon decided to make some blueberry muffins.   Delicious - with whipped cream and nuts on top.   Small enough to have two OR three at a time.    Our Saturday flew by on a windy 40 degree day which couldn't get much better than this!
