A VERY SPECIAL DAY!

It was my birthday yesterday and happenings certainly took place.    Beginning with cards from Iowa and Dallas and Maine!    You never think about getting those celebratory cards until they start coming in - along with the emails, texts and phone calls.   

I received gifts that surprised me!    I was not expecting this at all from
a friend in far away Georgia.

Aren't these napkin rings just the best?   
I can't wait to set the table.

A Halloween tree received before my birthday from my cousin to display during the season was so just outstanding!

A friend took me to lunch at Trackside where those fries are unbelievable and get eaten every time we are there.

And this is one of my favorite meals cooked by my private CHEF along with... 

some colorful socks that will be worn during the winter months!

And this wrapping - WOW - is certainly the best!    I'm going to reuse those cakes to surround a special package for someone else.    

It certainly happened to be a wonderful day all the way around.   You never know each year how your birthday will be spent, but mine was simply amazing this year.   I am grateful for everything that made it so special and the friends who were there wishing me a happy day.
